Office Administrator

Are you passionate about books and looking to gain experience and insight into all areas of a publishing company? Or are you looking to take the next step in your administrative career?

An independent publisher is looking for someone enthusiastic and organised to join their busy London office. Liaising between the different departments this person will be responsible for general receptionist duties alongside producing sales materials and assisting with some proof-reading. This is a full-time position working 9:30-5:30pm from their offices in Central London. 

The ideal candidate is energetic with a can-do attitude that has experience in an office environment (and when asked ‘what are you good at?’, organising and multi-tasking come to mind!). With prior experience as an assistant, receptionist, or customer service representative this person will be able to confidently; answer the phones and respond to enquiries, manage the post room and mail, complete regular stock checks of titles and office supplies, organise facilities management and make dummy books for fairs.
